Da John Mac Arthur dafür bekannt ist seine Predigten nicht mit Witzen und lustigen Geschichten, sondern mit dem Wort Gottes zu füllen möchte ich hier auf einen wie ich finde sehr gelungenen Scherz in der Mac Arthur Studienbibel hinweisen. (Auch wenn er nicht ganz fair ist!)

Was wir hier sehen ist die Themenkonkordanz (Verzeichnis mit Begriffen -> Bibelstellen) zum Thema Taufe im Anhang der Studienbibel. Der Witz offenbart sich erst wenn man die Bibelstelle über die Säuglingstaufe aufschlägt:

Tue nichts zu seinen Worten hinzu, daß er dich nicht strafe und du als Lügner erfunden werdest! Sprüche 30,6 (Schlachter 2000)
